Blackboard

Blackboard is an online interactive learning tool for conducting courses on the World Wide Web. It enhances traditional teaching methods by integrating course materials and modern communication tools.  Here at Rollins College, Blackboard is utilized as a supplementary instrument to augment, rather than replace, classroom learning. A few of the many tools provided by Blackboard are:

  • Live Chat
  • Discussion Boards
  • Group Collaboration
  • Document Exchange
  • Online Testing

Conducting or participating in a Blackboard course requires a computer with Internet Explorer/Netscape Navigator 4.0 or higher (standard on all school computers).
